Emma Holly opened Restore Therapy to provide a centre for non-invasive scar treatment. Emma is a specialised clinical scar massage therapist. She offers treatment for scar adhesions and fibrosis, pain or discomfort after surgery and clients wanting to maximise their recovery.
With over 25 years of experience as a massage therapist, Emma is a leading ScarWork therapist and one of just two UK teachers of these specialist techniques.
Emma has worked within private clinic's as massage therapist and also offers training courses within her field. Originally delivering ITEC aromatherapy massage courses and now teaching ScarWork. Passionate about charity, Emma donates many hours of her time to ensure people can access treatment, regardless of income. Emma launched the first voluntary scar clinic in the UK at Rennie Grove, St Albans in February 2016, and brings a team of volunteer ScarWork Therapists to support the Invictus Games Athletes every year. Emma has developed strong links with consultants and radiologists and physiotherapists at St Albans and Watford NHS Hospitals in addition to a number of private hospitals.
The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) awarded Emma as Highly Commended Complementary Therapist of the Year 2017. Emma also works with the coaching team at British Athletics and has provided a team of therapists to support the Invictus athletic team.
Emma is a professional massage therapist. First qualifying in 1994, attending one of the leading therapy schools at the time with massage guru, Clare Maxwell Hudson. Since then Emma has attended numerous advanced massage courses, discovering Sharon Wheeler's ScarWork and choosing to specialise in scar and post surgical therapy treatments. Emma is also qualified in aromatherapy, the use of oils for therapeutic benefit.
