John is a sports and remedial massage therapist and a highly active individual. While he has the skills to work with clients from all walks of life, John has been able to develop his specialism within sports and injury recovery. With experience working with elite athletes at prestigious events including cycling, rugby, snowboarding and bobsleigh.

John has added to his skills with other tools to promote recovery. In addition to ScarWork and scar massage he is able to offer Kinesio taping which can provide support, reduce pain and facilitate lymphatic drainage, all helping to improve recovery times. Additionally John is able to offer dynamic pressure therapy to stimulate the lymphatic system. Ideal to use in conjunction with scar treatments after a knee or leg surgery.

John trained at The North London School of Sports Massage and has continued to learn more and improve as a therapist since graduating.  John felt there was more he could do to help his clients. This led John to Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork course. John has found ScarWork to be the missing piece to the puzzle being able to make significant and permanent improvements. Outside of work John has a running club, teaches indoor cycling and is competing in an Ironman event. In April 2018, he trained in Sharon Wheeler's ScarWork with Emma Holly, and has participated in fast track ScarWork specialist training to become part of the Restore Therapy team.

John is very passionate about working with athletes, something which he has been able to do all over the world. Working with triathletes at both Ironman and Challenge events. He spent a season working with the British Bobsleigh team at North American, European and World cup events. Most recently he spent a month in Austria working with the Chinese freestyle snowboarding team.
