How can Restore Scar Therapy help you?
Restore Therapy Clinic is led by Emma Holly, one of the UK’s leading scar tissue experts, with clinic locations in London’s medical centre, Harley Street and ear Bath in Somerset.
Emma is an internationally recognised educator and presenter on scar massage and non‑invasive scar therapy. Together with highly trained clinical scar specialist Joana Pedroso, they form a specialist team dedicated to the treatment and management of scar tissue.
We provide expert, non‑invasive scar therapy to support your recovery after surgery or trauma, where scar tissue, adhesions or fibrosis may have developed — including deep internal scarring. Our treatments specialise in advanced scar massage techniques designed to restore movement, reduce discomfort and improve tissue health alongside self-scar care plans for you to follow at home.
Our hands-on therapy is complemented by advanced medical technologies, including LymphaTouch® and Deep Oscillation® therapy. These can be integrated into your treatment plan to enhance results and support optimal healing. Treatment is suitable for both recent and long‑standing scars.
Release Tightness
Scar therapy can help loosen and release tight scar tissue to reduce discomfort. Treatment can be beneficial on both new and old scar tissue.Support Emotional Wellbeing
Gentle therapeutic touch can be powerful way to aid emotional recovery and help accept changes after a surgery or accident.Help Restricted Mobility
By reducing tightness and encouraging mobility between the layers of skin, fascia and muscle, the client's range of movement can often improve.Stimulate and Boost Healing
Scar massage is often recommended by surgeons to promote optimum scar healing after surgery & may minimise long term complications.Reduce Sensitivity and Pain
Trapped nerves and irritated scar tissue can be a factor for prolonged discomfort. Therapeutic touch may reduce pain and help normalise sensitivity.Internal Scar Tissue
We are not simply about the scar on the skin. Our therapies will target deep internal scar tissue and fibrosis. The Team
The Restore Therapy team are here to help you feel better after a surgery or trauma. In early recovery, we can check your scar healing and also provide a personalised scar care plan for you to follow at home to help support your scar healing. In clinic we will usually see clients for a number of treatments when we are helping complications such as pain, sensitivity, persistent swelling or limited movement. Issues such as tightness, puckering and bulky, thickened scar tissue often respond well to therapy.
