Restore Therapy Clinic Ltd. is run by Emma Holly, UK’s leading scar therapy educator and international presenter on scar massage and non-invasive scar therapy. Together with highly trained scar therapist, Joana Pedroso, they form a specialist clinical team of scar tissue experts.

Scar treatment to help your recovery after a surgery or trauma has created scar tissue, adhesions or fibrosis – including internal scar tissue.  We are specialists in scar massage, a non-invasive, manual scar treatment.

Medical devices complement our manual therapy: LymphaTouch and Deep Oscillation Therapy. These medical devices may be incorporated into treatments – to suit your requirements – in order to maximise results and  promote healing. Therapy is beneficial for old and very historic scars as well as new scars.

Release Tightness
Scar therapy can help loosen and release tight scar tissue to reduce discomfort. Treatment can be beneficial on both new and old scar tissue.

Trapped nerves and irritated scar tissue can be a factor for prolonged discomfort. Therapeutic touch may reduce pain and help normalise sensitivity.

We are not simply about the scar on the skin. Our therapies will target deep internal scar tissue and fibrosis.

The Team

The Restore Therapy team are here to help you feel better after a surgery or trauma. In early recovery, we can check your scar and provide a personalised scar care plan for you to follow at home to help support your scar healing. Often we will give a number of treatments, over a number of months, to help complications such as pain, sensitivity or limited movement. Pulling, tightness, puckering and thickened scar tissue often respond well.

A range of treatment options selected to meet your needs

We are here to support your recovery using a patient centred treatment approach. Your therapist will select the best options to deliver a personalised treatment for your scar. A single treatment is often helpful, button many cases a scar therapy program of 4-8 treatments is recommended for the best results. Treatments usually are given at intervals every 2, 4 or 6 weeks.
